Wake me up when September ends

I was surprised to see that there were quite a number of page view last month, haha. Not that I keep track, but just happened to see the blogger stats when I signed in. Well, I seriously wonder who still visit this abandoned space, maybe be some random passerbys heh?

Caught the musical Avenue Q today, I must say its a much better experience than the 2 musicals I caught in NYC last December. Mainly because I wasn't feeling tired and sleepy at all, hahahahahaha. It was a really bad idea to watch Mary Poppins after a long day out then, in winter. Yet, I succumbed to the persuasion of my companions to watch another musical, Phantom of the Opera,  2 night after that. A total waste of money cause I was either dozing off or really trying super hard to stay awake throughout, didnt enjoy them at all. =S

I was introduced to a 'new' friend today. But me being me, I didnt initiate any talk with her though I sat beside her the whole time. I am just very shy.....I hope she wont walk away with the impression that I am 'dao'. =(

Interestingly, I happened to meet someone unexpectedly while trying to get to the seats. Hahahahahaha! I thought something was amiss when I heard the name, hahahaha. That sneaky bastard! I is very sharp okay, I actually remembered, lol. =P Just last night, this person actually randomly came to my mind.... to think today we met!

I am kinda proud of myself that I am getting less bothered about such stuff =)

On a lighter note, managed to celebrate the Mid-Autumn in advance with the Kfrens last week. Had a really fun time taking photos, hahaha.

And so....I am back at this abandoned space after more than a year.
Welcome me back with a おかえり！ anyone? Haha

Much things have changed since the last post.
2011 pass and ended so quickly, maybe just to me, or so I think.
Dont we all agree that years seem to pass faster as we get older? Haha.
During the time I was 'kept' away from this space, I have learnt, questioned, think, shared, cried, laughed, worked alot and travelled abit. Haha

A random update: I just passed my driving Final Theory test.
Now I hope I don't need to study for it again. Heh heh, that's if I can get the license within a year.

Some reshuffling at work to take place next week.
I just hope that the 'new' people above me will take good care of me, and the people below remain as nice as before, hahaha.

I am not sure if this is a sign for something bigger, or just a test for us.
I am still undecided, but then........

Its a stay home rainy sunday for me today.
Been ages since i last stayed at home for the whole day. Haha.
Nowadays, I only get home after 9 almost everyday  Because of tuition, midweek and friday outings, weekends another thing.

Today, my brother cooked japanese curry with chicken for the family, hahaha! He took damn longggg..I waited from 11am, checking out if he needed my help, lol. And we only had lunch at 3pm! I think most of the time waste was due to him obsessed with removing fats, as I saw him slowly picking out fats from the chicken meat, zzzz.  But then the curry was good, haha, sweet and niceee, hahaha. I am quite ashame to say that my 2 youngest brothers are better cooks than me!

I dont look forward to tml =( Work is getting busier. My supervisor is going to be away for 2.5 week reservist and handed me a pile of work before he left. Ahhhh... got to attend meeting on his behalf too...I am very keen to get that report out next week! Been dragging tooooo long.

Been wanting to blog about alot of things, from the australia grad trip to phuket trip, grad photoshoots, many many outings, to work and the recent DnD. But i never get to doing these backlogs. Haha. Lazy lazy. Plus uploading photos to blogger takes me ages, argh! one big factor that deters me from blogging. Really wonder how others manage to do up long posts with photos. But still, i want to blog them down, before i forget these happy times.

Chiwawamares

Was chatting with tingyi on msn late last night.

Yea, she suddenly 'appeared' again.

Updated each other on our latest happenings and she also showed me some photos, haha. 

Thought i could share her photos and help her to bring 'Chiwawamares' to the rest here, hahaha.

This is Meimei, the couples' newly adopted dog. They adopted her cos they thought she looked v skinny and ke lian. Kind people. Actually im not sure if its a 'she', hahaha, just the name sounds like.

BR msged me to say some tall insurance agent called her by my name at harbourfront station, this afternoon. He called her when she was walking pass the control station. Then she overheard him saying 'opps, called wrong person' to his friend.

Received the final result at 7.14am this morning on the phone, haha, the push sms service is really early!

Was most worried about my dissertation cos it is worth 8MCs, 2 modules! And yays, I actually got 2 grades higher than what i expected! Worth the one month plus spent 'dissertating' in the IRC with Qian and william.

The time spent in the IRC was super torturous, haha yet memorable.
I will never forget the 神书(Bu2034)- a senior's dissertation we always refer for the formatting, getting 'scolded' for misusing the power point(lol), banana siblings, 'succulent' trips to macDs, carrying our laptops to dinner, the 'tiiiiiyiiiii' sound at the counter(hahahahaha), meeting my 'twin', the 'illegal' stuff i did, checking out other peoples' progress, fretting about not being able to hand in on time, creating lame surveys together, trying to contact interviewees(tedious work), many many stuff more, climbing up to get the old dusty dissertations, the tables, and even the moldy smell of the IRC. Haha.

I have an acknowledgment page thanking all the people who have helped in my dissertation. The poly lecturers, technician, green temple, the pfm mates, those who lent me laptops, camera, nagged at me, asked about my progress, encouraged, accompanied me, wahaha.

Caps improved, but no change in class cos im tooo far away from the next class level, haha.

Surprisingly, i scored quite well for that IF module which i only spent 2 days studying and thought that the paper was very screwed. I only knew how to answer 2 out of 5 questions in full.

I love my beloved supervisor for dissertation and IF. =P

But competition is fierce, with all the juniors from gd schools and gd results.

Today, I finish reading the yog training 'notes'.
8 'modules', some with quizzes. Totally benny style!

For 2 nights in a row, I feel like im some naggy mother/wife waiting for her son/ husband to come home.

Waiting like an idiot when nobody cares.
