Mid Term break!

Monday:
Went to school for Construction Tech and M&E project. Discussed in Sde and we went looking for books and videos in the lib.

We found a related video tap to watch and were happy to be able to book a video room for 8 of us to watch it together. Haha, but that tv was so small, lol. There was another tv in that small room also, and when we were watching halfway, some guys came in and wanted to used that tv. =_= impossible la, how to concentrate when 2 tv are on at the same time in that small little room, lol. In the end, they said to come back after we ended.

We were like transcripting what is said in that video, lol. Kept replaying.

We found this book in central lib, titled, Skewed history of Pisa Tower. Its 'bound to slant' leh, so unique right? Very cute!

Ivan 22nd bday was on sunday, since we happened to noe it, we bought him a cake on our way to school. The cake was slanted, cos xm hid it in her bag. hahaha

Yay, cut cake! He reminds me of Jiayi when we first got to know him, cos he has a tiger tooth and was rather quiet. But I was wrong, he isnt like da tou at all, hahaha.

After lunch was M&E meeting. We arranged to go for site visit at Hweiying's condo the next day!

Tuesday:

We met at a bus- stop near Hweiying place, 9.30am. Xiuming and werent late, amazing. Only Steph was late. Discussed abit, roughly looked at drawings and we were on our way to the management office. 9 of us turned up, only Anuj din.

2 guys and 1 gal brought us around. Heard that they were our seniors, taking building course. Steph happens to noe one of the more senior guy, from soka. Pple from her religion were like everywhere. haha

We went to the water pump room at Hweiying's basement first.
There was an unpleasant smell in there. A breakwater tank on the left and pumps on the right.

The 2 pumps that works alternate-ly, pumps water up to the storage tank at the roof top.

The guys explained to us how everything works, from the PUB supplies to the tank to the sensors and the pipes connection.

We had 4 cameras! kept snapping, hahaha...

After that, we proceed to the 10th floor, hoho...going up to the rooftop!

Everyone is ald up on the rooftop. Only left Andre stuck at the 2nd ladder. Hahaha!

He is just too afraid of heights! See the view from the roof.

He decided to change to climbing the ladder on the other side. Still stuck for a few minutes. Slowly slowly...

Finally! But he remained in this squatting pose for quite some time, lol. And all the while, he kept telling us not to walk so fast, when we din actually walk fast at all. Haha, he was too worried and seeing us walk like that made him giddy. LOL!

Poor Andre still stuck near the stairs when the rest of us were looking at the booster pumps and listening to what the grey shirt guy has to say.

We are actually standing on the water tank. Its C-shaped. The middle part is the lift motor. Those silver square things are the cover to lift to go into the water tank. But the management did not allow us to go down. Quite wasted, if not we can see how 'clean' the inside is, heh.

William and Ivan! William is that 19 yr old indonesian guy who called me steel teeth. Haha. Andre calls him a soft toy, lol. 'so adorable and can bring home to keep as pet, just put on sofa', says Andre. =_= LOL. Andre is 25, like a big brother to William. 6 yrs gap leh, like me and my youngest brother, but I cant imagine going to school with my brother la. hahaha

After the trip to the rooftop, we went to interview 3 blocks of residents. The weather was so hot!

Ivan is m'sia and William is from Indonesia, no problem speaking malay and simple indonesian language, haha.

Hweiying's mum prepared a spread for us, shes v 好客！

We even had tea and snacks after that.

Andre is funny, he says that he is not just scared of heights, but also 黑黑暗暗的东西。。。hahaha

We were dead tired man!

We decided to end our meeting ard 7pm.

And we went Kbox! hahaha...

We only reach at 8 but andre managed to ask the gal to let us sing til 11, usual package is 7-10pm.

They gave us alot of food, fried stuff. But we din even finish half. Waste food.

I must say Andre sang really well! Geyao president leh, hahaha... but he dun seem to remb us at all, lol. Keep this as a secret. Qian says she felt touched by his singing, hahaha. Ivan sang canto songs better than chinese, i think. He even sang those hokkien songs, haha. Wah they really sang alot of canto songs la, almost all of them could sing abit of canto, im so noob!

The guys keep saying simple canto words everytime they meet, like kept 碎碎念 ing ... hai ar, hoe ar, mo man tai ar, tim gai..........v funny

Thursday:

Went out with Liwei and Beiru to buy bday presents... I think I was abit mean that day, hahaha... pms, nv ending ulcer growth, always getting pushed by pple!

Friday:

Meet at Hweiying's place again for M&E project... Finish up with our interviews and start on reading up the code of practice which is damn boring! Her mum made v nice snacks for us again! nice!

Ended our meeting ard 5 and the few of us went to Kranji Turf Club! hahaha...

Cos Hy had some free tickets...

Many uncles there, haha...many of them reading the guides, and they started shouting when the horses gets nearer to the end point.... we got very excited also, hahaha

There were many seats with a page or 2 of newspaper on them... later we got to noe that those pple book seats by placing newspapers, cos Andre got chased off his seat, lol...

We just seat there blur blur until hy asked the uncle beside her to explain to us, lol... Very helpful uncle, he taught us the basics and even told us horse No. 3 will sure win...

He was accurate! I think he won alot, haha... mimimum for a ticket is 5 bucks, he bought 100 bucks leh... And there will be a few race in one day...

In the canteen, there were no seats at all! lol... see everyone is standing...

a rather boring movie, i think....the jokes that me and qian talk of are even funnier than the movie itself. haha... or maybe we were too tired... the movie start at 12.15am.

While we were waiting for the movie to start, and for Andre to get his bro's car, we played 终极密码 and Truth or Dare. Haha, funny forfeit... i realise i cant really lie. haha

Qian and me were ald very tired and our happening friends still wanted to go for supper, haha...and we went to bukit timah to have teochew porridge.

Saturday:

Skipped aerobics cos Juliet called to say she feel v lazy cos its raining very heavily. And also becos i cldnt wake up, haha... rushed to go for tuition and den to meet Huiee. We went for Gary's autograph session, hahaha... we were standing rather far from the stage and the among the crowd that wasnt 'high', so boring... some stared at us weirdly when we sang loudly....hahaha, ruhua kept doing weird stunts, LOL...aiming to spoil all the videos and photos the pple behind us took...

Ham also came to join us after work, haha.... went for abit of shopping, they bought $9 stuffs! lol...and Huiee told us of her bro's kkj stories. hahaha

Sunday:

Went for Rongluan's bday party!
