So here I am, finally free to blog

Ended my internship last week! yay!

I was very sick of working at Woodsville for my last 5 weeks already. Haha

The best time of my internship was at Sentosa, the last 5 weeks just pales in comparison.

I seriously think there is something lacking in the latter team, something really important. I can see it in the first few days of work there. The people there are alright, just that something seems to be lacking.

Come to think of it, i have more things that i dislike rather than like on the last five weeks. Haha... Long travelling distance, sharing seat with boss... meaning when he was there, i din have a computer to use, super handicap cos i cant finish my work plus have to sit at a small table btw my supervisor and the boss trying to find things to do to act busy! duh... i usually end up staring at drawings and contract documents, thats super boring! The office is just very quiet =_=

But luckily, i still have some really nice pals. Hehe. Kaiqi, fresh grad senior from my course, a drama addict, i think she speaks in a very drama way too. Kyu Kyu, QS, very chirpy and happy myanmar chinese lady, very cute. Crystal, purchaser, funny and nice lady, very entertaining, haha. They treated me lunch on my last day. So sweet of them really. Rather touched. =)

I bought chocolates for the pple there also, extra for the 3 of them, hee. Somehow i always feel very shy when im giving colleagues chocolates on my last day. Haha... anyone shares the same feeling as me?

I hope we really get to meet up someday, haha.

Went for an intern lunch one friday at The Olive Ristorante at labrador park...

6 of us interns from nus, 2 new interns from hongkong, some hr pple, our commercial manager, one pm, and director...

and the commercial manager sat in front of me..=_= the one i had a bebrief with on my first week... but it turn out alright, just casual chat, haha... though i cant understand his ang moh accent sometimes

and i got to noe that the rest of my interns friends din get to debrief with the commercial manager... zzzz, either he was too busy or our supervisor din even have the time to go thru the commercial review task with them... =_= im so 'lucky', i was the first and the only one who got the full package...

another 'lucky' thing, i realised that my company account dun allow me to surf the net on my last week at sentosa... and i always thought that my computer is faulty so i cant surf.. zzz... but jiawei is nice enough to let me use her account to surf, haha... even though i rarely rarely surf

the 4 of us intern from building went back to the head office to do a presentation on our second last day... really last minute man, they only confirm on that morning that the presentation is in the afternn, while the rest started doing their slides the week before, i think i only started the day before, hahaha... i wasnt well prepared unlike stepf who even type out her speech, but still overall alright, hee

i only did my slides the day before the presentation cos i was totally caught up with my measurement task, its soooo tedious, calculating concrete, formwork, excavation and rebars for the u shape trough.... the rebars part is extremely tedious! i hope i din get anson into trouble cos i took soo long to finish that task. haha

now i have a report to write on my internship, im feeling so lazy!
