Last last week, we went to borrow Ivan's hall kitchen to cook pineapple fried rice for our scheduling project. The korean lecturer had quite an interesting idea rite?



We were supposed to bring what we cooked to share with the class and gave a presentation. haha.. He told us to get money from him before class to buy drinks for ourselves, kinda nice. And he even asked 2 other professor to taste our food, lol. The other groups made potato salad, oreo cheesecake, green bean soup and egg tart.



The presentation was on applying project scheduling methods on the whole cooking process from buying of ingredients til the end. Resources, risks, mitigation methods, critical path, durations etc.



I think hweiying is a motherly person, haha

One of our groupmate looked very stern and unapproachable, lol... thats what qian, hy and me think...But i think she shld be quite a ok person to work with ba?

On a happier note, HR3003 presentation was finally done! Yay!



We were the first group to go and the tutor kept emphasising that we have to set the standard, so we were kinda stressed abt this project. This tutor is quite contradicting, on one hand he said he sympathise with our group cos we were the first and had nothing to refer to. On the other hand he said he will be quite harsh on us?



After the presentation, he commented that there were no major faults that he could find with our group, heee and we did set a standard there, hoho...



It was really hardwork preparing for this project.
We had a puppet show, kinda different rite? but we din film down our presentation, pity...
I was the narrator and had to act abit 'zi high', lol
We had some scenes acted out with the puppets, qns thrown to the class for discussion, interview videos giving suggestions, a personality test for the class and explainations, and a conslusion. Alot alot of work!





First step: We sew the puppets ourselves, using felt cloths!!! hahaha


They look really scary here with only heads done! lol
They are actually rather famous pple or celebrity wannabes, hahaha

I personally think that he look more like a japanese old man, thus calling him Yamada san instead! hahaha, got this name from the our japanese textbook

We went to huiru's place to do our project for a few days, made a mess of her living room =S


Spent time doing up our stage, the plastic boards are not cheap...
Some doing serious work on their laptops, the slides (animation and sounds), editing and cutting the interview videos, adding subtitles, all very tedious and time consuming work!

We also had to discuss how to make every part flow as a whole... the puppet and our scripts, adding in funny nonsense and most importantly, the learning part




After everything was done, we had to rehearse!
Carried all the props, folded up stage, sticks for support, puppets, backdrop, laptop from home and all around the school for a few days, haha.


On our last day for rehearsing, we cldnt be bothered to fold up the stage cos we dun wanna waste time setting up when we switch venue to practise...


And we carried the big stage from biz, thru arts canteen and to sde, lol....

Finally back to our 'paradise' hahahaha
We were blinded by the late afternoon sunlight when the lift door opened, lol
Qian says it looked like paradise/heaven etc

It was quite squeezy behind the stage... and looked like a war zone after the presentation, puppets and boards everywhere, haha



After working with the gals for so many projects, could really see how each one of us work, haha
Especially after reading and learning abt the 4 personality types.
Im a Peaceful Phlegmatic, and haves traits of a Perfect Melancholy as well, hee
Sounds like a double depressed personality lo =S
But its really quite true!
