Peranarakan Museum

With much free time on our hands, the gals and i visited the peranarakan museum last wed.

There was a misunderstanding on the meeting place, so lw shopped by herself at raffles city while i made br accompany me to make spects at teck whye. That was suppose to be my bday present last year =_=

We finally reach the museum after spending some time figuring out its location.

Quite a small musuem, we finished exploring in around 2 hrs or less.

No feeling of 'information overload' hahaha

Thinking that we had no plans of lunching out, I offered to bring dumplings for lw when we were exchanging smses in the morning. She said ok, bring one for her.

When we met, she thought i brought dumplings as in 水饺 and insisted that 粽子 is not called dumplings. haha. I thought dumpling is implied as 粽子 since that festival is nearing. To be accurate, its called rice dumpling. hahaha

Imagine i just brought one 水饺 for her, kinda funny la, hahaha

Made by my mother. She only put in 2 pathetic pieces of meat into each dumpling this year, zzzz.

Too little meat le la, maaaaa

Otherwise, its quite nice. =D

Brought one for br also, but shes not interested, cos she dun like meat, lol.

After that we walked a looonng way in the sun to The cathay.

Lw told us about a lady she met on the bus, who have smooth face, smooth back BUT arms that are winkly and look like those of someone who is 60. With that, lw stressed the importance of protecting our skin from sun rays. hahahaa! She carries her cap in her bag everytime and wears sunblock.

Her obbession with sun protection is kinda getting into me, lol.

We walked to lido to get their movie tickets and settle down for some slacking.

Took out our 'bag guardians' and started taking photos

These keychains/soft toys stays in our bags most of the time.

Actually the real 'bag guardians' are br's blue elephant, lw's weird green alligator, and my dark blue crocs. They dun serve much purpose other then staying in our bags, hahaha. the hamster is a handphone strap and elmo is a pouch strap.

I bought crocs some xmas ago together with medicine mouse, which was given away. haha

It was lying in my cupboard til recently.
