They gave me a surprise!

Really caught me by surprise, very unexpected. I din suspect anything either.

Because it was still a few days before my birthday then and I organised this gathering just to celebrate wk's ord.

Turning 22! Somehow this pose has became my favourite, lol.

She msged me in the wee hours the night before the outing to tell me she got tuition assignment that day. I thought that wasnt a surprising stunt coming out from our pangseh queen even when i booked her a week in advance, haha. I even showed zx's msg to br, when br is her accomplice. lol

We 'accidentally' met zx on the way to mind cafe, haha. She lied that she just went to school and was rushing to tuition. Fair enough, her school was near that area.

And when we were at the cafe, br who was on the phone with her sister the whole day, randomly asked me for opinions on whether her sis should buy bitter chocolate or mango cake. Br told us about her sister buying cheesecakes and leaving them in the shop recently, so i thought her sister was really buying cakes again, haha.

After a while she said shes going down to meet a fren. I thought she was going to meet her LH. haha!

And then Tadah! She returned with ZX and the cake.

Surprise surprise!

Planning their trip to china. Im a poor gal, cant follow them again.

After that, we went to Samy's curry, dempsey hill.

Walked quite a while from town to tanglin area, but cldnt figure out how to go.

Took cab in the end.

we went to zx's place to play one day

lw wanted to re-dye her hair and she persuaded us to join her.

persuaded me especially! even select the color for me. saying things like i shld be more adventurous and do crazy stuff when we are still young, lol.

and so i finally did something to my virgin hair, haha

some days ago we were at marina sq, walk over the popeye's at the flyer for dinner

tried spaghetti at the japanese shop, forgot the name

step 1 – be impulsive n get a pack of hershey’s choc chips n suggest baking brownies to frens who like u, are dying of pure boredom

step 2 – get all the left over stuff in the kitchen n potential substitutes too which can fit into the ingredient list (saves on grocery spending)… there’s no need to follow the recipe strictly…. agah-agah’s the way to go (:

step 4 – bake

step 5 – get distracted by some hilarous comedy like the big bang theory n take turns pushing ard the responsibility of checking on the brownie

step 6 - get a half-cooked brownie w a very uncooked middle. shove it in the oven AGAIN

step 7 – get distracted again by big bang. according to ur intuition, let the brownie cook in the oven as long as u want

step 8 – the inedible brownie w a hard-rock top crust n base is ready to be served…. taste some so tt ur efforts wld’nt go wasted. then dump the rest (:

lesson of the day. ready made subway brownies sold over the counter are the way to go. NEVER attempt to bake ur own brownies. just buy them.

brownies are so fattening, all the choc chips, butter and sugar, ahhh. and when it doesnt taste nice, i think we shld really throw them away, no point putting all those fats into our body
