Back from aussie land on tuesday night
Slept for 12 hours but still couldnt cure my tiredness, haha.
Went out on wednesday feeling v sleepy
Still feeling super lethargic today, haha
7 days trip to aussie land, brisbane, gold coast
6 flowers and 2 grass
over thousands of photos taken, 8 of us all armed with camera each!
almost less than 6 hours of sleep every night
ALWAYS rushing and running around
walking more than 15 hours everyday
skipped bathing at night due to the cold and tiredness, hahahaha!
uncountable trips to the souvenir shops
frequent trips to supermarts
crazy amount of food bought, macadamia nuts, chocolates and candles
endless laughter and nonsense talking
1st day
sleepless overnight flight on SQ, zzzzz
multi-player mahjong game
reversi
and movies watching- shutter island!
2nd day
tangalooma island-->'sand sliding' at the desert, beautiful night sky with clear view of the milky way, dolphin feeding, getting locked out of the room in the cold weather, all thanks to my 'sticky' roomie, lol. lame horse racing betting game, won 3 bucks. pelican feeding, mad rush to buy photos and to the boat, met little wilson on board, hahaha
3rd day
short shopping trip at DFO, chinatown, wine-tasting, the 2 drunk girls, short walk outside the winery, tallest building in GC, Q1, Qdeck, loitering on the streets, night market along the beach, william's caricature, super chilly wind! checking out the bowling place which was toooo expensive! supermarket shopping on the way back
4th day
Dream world!! spent too much time in the wildlife area, hahaha. molesting kangaroos, hugging koalas, mini animal show. theme park rides: wipeout- most disgusting ride, cyclone-fun! souvenirs shopping, spongebob recycle bagsss, yummy krispy creme! failed attempt to use the public phone, lol. accompanying qian to buy her super pretty and expensive UGG boots, Ripleys believe it or not museum, unusual, weird, disgusting, interesting stuff, love the mirror! and the disco time! hahaha. supermarket shopping yet again
5th day
Movie world!! photo taking with characters, shrek 4D show, wet and wild ride - wet, unexpected, fun! scooby doo indoor coaster- the best ride! and some kiddy rides with qian, lol. cool stunt driver show. mad rush to the souvenir shops again, missed the parade. back to hotel. steph's crazy shopping at the souvenir shops, lol. bought candies and beer. walking to the haunted house with handful of plastic bags, looking like aunties who just did marketing! lol, street loiter again, condom kingdom, pizza for dinner! super yummy! lemonade is love too! fooling around on the streets, met people who shouted 'hai' while bowing and 'konbanwa' thinking we are japanese/asians, haha. and also people who mumbled 'chinese motherfuckers... bleah bleah' when he walked pass
6th day
free day!! jet boating in the morning, cool pick up, 50 mins jet boat ride! saw dolphins and beautiful holiday houses of the rich. shivering after getting wet, haha. shopping at harbourtown factory outlet. raisin bread with jams and butter 'stolen' from the hotel for our lunch, lol. back to hotel. supermarket shopping again! yummy big burgers for dinner, super nice shop people taught us the way to the casino. taking public bus to the casino. black jack and jack pot. maxi cab back to hotel
7th day
chasing the sunrise! 5am jog/run to the surfer paradise beach to watch the sunrise. waited super long as there was a thick layer of clouds near the horizon. cold~ imitating uncle exercising in front of us, hahahaha! hy taught us tai chi, lol. writing/drawing on the sand, picking shells. hurrying back for shower and breakfast. packed luggage. rushed out to send our postcards at the post office, last minute shopping at the supermarket! chocolate vanilla lollipops! checked out with our become-super-heavy luggage and bagss, to the airport, slept all the way.
wasted our time at souvenir shop again. bought my green caterpillar, so cute! on the plane, baileys, bloody mary, spitzer, lemonade, orange cooler, another wine-tasting? haha. asked for instant noodles, but.... taught qian sudoku, hehe. watched nodame cantabile. back in singapore, shopped at duty free, bought baileys! last photo we took, went separate ways, got a ride from xm's parents back home, wahaha
